Norhard tunneling in Italy

The drilling of the 1,6 km tunnel for Cavaglio Hydroelectric Plant is completed.

The upper part of the penstock for the new hydroelectric plant under construction reaches from the idyllic small town Cavaglio at elevation 470 m.a.s.l. and up to the intake 1,6 km further up in the mountains at elevation 576 m.a.s.l.

This is a double first for Norhard: first international project and our first tunnel exceeding 1,6 km.
