Breakthrough Tonstad

577 m directional drilling with horizontal and vertical curvature from the kick-off point (just a few kilometers from the Norhard premises at Tonstad) to the predetermined exit point in an existing tunnel system. The new tunnel, with a diameter of 0.7 m was completed in just one month, from the start of rigging to the breakthrough with 100% accuracy.

Forman Harald Rekevik and Automation technician Stian Haug Olsen are well pleased with the result after the night's breakthrough at Tonstad.
